This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with bunch of cherry blossoms and the words "Field Artillery Soldier" "1st Brigade" and in the shells at the bottom "Furlough" and the soldier's name Owa. This cup is probably early based on the style and reference to artillery brigade, which I don't see in later cups.
