This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a field gun resting on a slope and firing with muzzle flash. There's also a star at the top, and the words "2nd Mountain Artillery Battalion" and the name Yi on the back. Guns firing is another one of those things that look great on a cup but is somehow almost never done as a decorative motif.

Condition: Excellent - some fading of the gold
