This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a cherry blossom with the five virtues of a soldier on each of the petals, and then in the middle of the cherry blossom is the word "sincerity". The words on the outside are "Victorious Return Commemoration" and the soldier's full name Takemura Takehiro.
