This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a photo transfer image of General Nogi with his medals. The words on the cup in blue are "Registered Trademark". The red words are "Yoshino Pharmaceutical Corporation". This is quite interesting - I suppose Yoshino somehow got the rights to use General Nogi to sell their medicine.
