This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a helmet, a flag, and the big characters "Loyalty" and "Martiality". The words on top are "Commemoration". The helmet on this one is quite interesting - it has the interior straps attached and showing, whereas 99% of the helmets you see are just plain helmets. The exterior of the cup is in a helmet shape, appropriately, and has five shells as the base.
