This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a horse, a flag, a star, and some cherry blossom petals. The words are "4th Cavalry" "Leaving the service commemoration". The exterior of the cup is in the shape of a helmet with a pair of rifles as the base, and the soldier's name Hiraoka.
