This is an antique Japanese military sake bottle, decorated with a picture of the Imperial Palace in Tokyo, surrounded by a crane and turtle, and an imperial guard insignia on top. the words on the side are "1st Guards Infantry" "Discharge Commemoration". The soldier's name Yamazaki is on the back.
