This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with an insignia of the Imperial Guards in the center, and topped off with a crane. The words are "Imperial Guards Transport Battalion" "Commemoration". The back of the cup is a cherry blossom with the soldier's name Tanaka on the side.
