This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a flag, some cherry blossoms, and a poem, with the words "18th Infantry Commemoration". The exterior of the cup has a poem as decoration with a rake - symbolizing the farmstead that they would return to. The soldier's name Kurada is under the cup.
