This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a searchlight and some planes with a pair of cherry blossoms. The words are "Victorious Return" "Kanto Army Anti-Aircraft 2nd Battalion". The Kanto army was the Japanese army stationed in Manchuria - this is probably a China Incident cup from the late 30s.
