This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a nicely done landscape on the interior. The words on the exterior are "Infantry Gun" and the soldier's name Mizawa. The cup is chipped at 7 o'clock but repaired using what's called kintsugi. I know this sounds silly, but stuff repaired with kintsugi is often worth more than intact items.
