This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with two flags and the words "Korea 77th Infantry" "Mobilization Commemoration" and the soldier's name Ishii. The cup probably commemorates one of the campaigns that utilized troops stationed in Korea - either the Manchurian Incident of 1931 or maybe 1937 when Japan attacked China full scale.
