This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a flag, a cherry blossom, and a star. The words are "Maizuru Heavy Artillery" "Leaving the service commemoration". The soldier's name Miyazaki is on the back. Maizuru was the major port on the north side of Japan facing Russia.
