This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a pair of flags, one of which is a flag of Manchukuo. The words are "Commemoration" "Manchuria Independent Defense Unit". The poem is about defending the rights of Manchuria and Mongolia. The soldier's name Sato is on the back.
