This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a map of Manchukuo, with a pair of flags, and the words "Victorious Return Leaving the Service Commemoration' "39th Infantry". The exterior of the cup is in the shape of a helmet with three shells as the base, and the soldier's name Hayashi.
