This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a helmet and some cherry blossom petals. The big words on top are "Glory of the Nation" and under the flowers "Manchuria Conquest Victorious Return Commemoration" "30th Infantry". The exterior of the cup has an embossed cherry blossom pattern. It's quite unusual to see "Manchuria Conquest" as usually they keep up the myth that Japan was just "helping" Manchukuo get established, instead of the military conquest that it was.

Condition: Excellent - some fading of the gold around the rim
