This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a helmet, cherry blossoms, and a pair of flags, one of which is the flag of Manchukuo. There's also a railroad unit insignia. The words are "Manchuria Independent Defense Unit" "Discharge Commemoration". The soldier's name Yamashina is on the back.
