This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a flag and a type 11 machine gun. The words are "Manchuria Dispatch 12th Infantry" "Leaving the service commemoration". The soldier's name Takemoto is on the back.

Condition: Excellent - very light fading around the rim
