Antique Japanese Military Manchuria Nara Regiment Army Sake Cup
This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a pair of flags, a helmet, and a star. There's also a poem around the flags about defending the rights of Manchuria and Mongolia. The words are "Victorious Return Commemoration" and "Manchuria Nara Unit". Japanese army units are named after either commander or where they're from - aside from the numbers, which are most commonly seen on cups. "Nara unit" here refers to the Nara regiment - the 38th Infantry. The soldier's name Horii is on the back.
