Antique Japanese Military Meiji Period Engineer Attacking Frontline Army Sake Cup
This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a soldier who is in a Meiji period uniform and carrying a rifle. He's attacking some enemy position which is exploding - suggesting that he was the one who did the work to make it happen - setting mines, explosives, etc were part of their job, after all. The words are "9th Engineer" "Discharge Commemoration".
