Antique Japanese Military Miyama Heavy Artillery Regiment Army Sake Cup
This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a fortress gun with a cherry blossom on the right and the top. The words are "Miyama Heavy Artillery Regiment" "Term Fulfillment Commemoration". The soldier's name Okamoto is on the back. Miyama is now part of Wakayama city, south of Osaka. This was part of an extensive defensive area that guarded the entrance to the Seto Sea and was part of the Yura Fortress complex.
Condition: Excellent - very light fading of the gold
