Antique Japanese Military Nagato Class Battleship Profile Lacquer Tray
This is an antique Japanese military lacquer tray, decorated with a picture of the battleship Nagato or Mutsu - modeled after this picture it seems but mirrored. There's also a flag, cherry blossoms, and the words "Navy Term Fulfillment Commemoration" and the sailor's name Suzuki is in the shell on the bottom right. The tray is made of lacquered wood.
Condition: There are some small chips of the paint at the corners and also a bit of cracking of the paint on the back as is fairly typical for trays of this type and age.
