This one is a pretty interesting cup - it has a crane, an anchor, and a propeller with some cherry blossoms. The words on the cup are "Engineer promotion commemoration". The sailor's name Aikawa is on the back. This is probably for the occasion of actually earning a promotion - maybe formally as a naval engineer rather than just a sailor, or some kind of rank promotion. It's a pretty uncommon thing to see on a cup.

Condition: Excellent - very light fading of the gold
