This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated nicely with a well detailed soldier carrying a pick. There's also an anchor on the side, suggesting this person belong to the navy (SNLF?). The words are "Discharge Commemoration" "Glory of the Nation" "2nd Engineer" and the soldier's name Gotsu. The exterior has an embossed poem and cherry blossom pattern.

Condition: Excellent - slight fading of the gold around the rim
