This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a biplane flying on clouds with a pilot's badge. The words on the cup are "Kanto Army 10th Flying Battalion" "Victorious Return Commemoration" and the soldier's name Ono. The Kanto army was the Japanese formation that controlled Manchuria. The exterior of the cup is in the shape of a helmet with a plane as the base.
