This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with the War Dead Memorial on Baiyu Mountain (White Jade Mountain) in Port Arthur. This tower was erected by the Japanese after winning the Russo Japanese war. The words are "9th Infantry 6th Company" and "Port Arthur Garrison Commemoration". The soldier's name Hashitsume is on the back.
