Regular price $0

This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with four flags in a crossed pattern and a star on top. The words are "Spreading the Glory of the Nation" "Victorious Return Commemoration". The exterior of the cup has the words "Meiji 37th Year (1904) Russo Japanese War Port Arthur Capture Commemorative Cup". The capture of Port Arthur was the first major objective of the Russo Japanese war which took most of 1904 to accomplish. Then the subsequent victories at Mukden and Tsushima sealed the deal. The cup is made of metal with a chrome (or some other shiny metal) wrapping. It's very rare to have these in mint condition as they usually are weathered or damaged in some way.

Condition: Mint

Size: 3.75" across
