This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a kiri and a chrysanthemum. The words on the cup are "Railroad Regiment" "3rd Engineer Battalion". The soldier's name Hori is on the back. Interestingly enough this is the first cup I've encountered that specific an engineer in a railroad regiment - you'd think there'll be a lot of them.

Condition: Excellent - slight fading around the rim
