This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with an interesting star-within-red cross insignia, with a wreath around it. The words on the front are "Victorious Return Commemoration" and on the back "9th Division 2nd Medic Attachment". The soldier's name Sasayama is in the middle.
