This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a helmet with a pair of flags, one of which is the flag of the puppet Republic of China regime set up after Japan's invasion in 1938. The words are "Victorious Return Commemoration". The exterior of the cup is in the shape of a helmet with three shells as the base and the words "Loyalty and Bravery" embossed on the side.
