This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a helmet, a flag, and some cherry blossoms around the side. There's a poem on the exterior and the words on the base are "Shanghai Victorious Return Commemoration" and the soldier's name Koishi in small red words. The red inside the base are "Kutani", the name of the kiln.
