This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a badge of the Order of Rising Sun, a kiri, and the words "67th Infantry" "Japan Germany Commemoration". The soldier's name Goto is on the back. This refers to Japan's fighting against Germany in WW1, mostly in China and also in the Pacific.
