This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a nice picture of a stream and two huts, with a flag on one side. This probably signifies returning to one's homestead. The words on the cup are "9th Cavalry Siberia Victorious Return Commemoration". 

Condition: Excellent - some fading of the gold in the center
