This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated very nicely with a Mount Fuji in the background, a wire layer in the middle, some telegraph posts on the side, and a flag with the signal unit's insignia on it. The words are "1st Signal Unit Regiment Commemoration" and the soldier's name Nakano. The exterior of the cup is in a helmet shape with five petals as the base, with a flag on the back and a star on the front.
