Antique Japanese Military WW2 218th Infantry Regiment Army Sake Bottle
This is an antique Japanese military sake bottle, decorated with a flag, with the words "218th Infantry Regiment" "Victorious Return Commemoration" and the soldier's full name Katsura Masao. These three digit regiments were all set up in the very late 30s - 1938 or 39, as the war in China rapidly expanded and manpower was needed. This bottle is probably from around 1940 or 1941 when these soldiers came back from the theater.
