This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a soldier holding a rifle with a bayonet and a yosegaki flag hanging from it. The words are "Victorious Return Commemoration" and the poem is says "The Bayonet that holds the peace of East Asia". The exterior of the cup is a in a helmet shape with three shells as the base, with the words "Loyalty and Bravery" embossed on the side.
