Antique Japanese Military WW2 Great East Asian War Navy Department Lacquer Sake Cup
This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with an anchor with a cherry blossom - the naval insignia. The words on the back are "Great East Asian War Commemoration" "Department of Navy". The term "Great East Asian War" became in use after December 11th 1941 - this cup would've been for commemorating probably one of the early victories of the war.
