Antique Japanese Pre-1910 Korea Occupation Garrison Infantry Army Sake Cup
This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a branch of cherry blossoms and a banner with the words "Korea Garrison Commemoration". The name used for Korea here refers to the Korean empire - pre-annexation in 1910, after which it was known as "Chosun". The words on the exterior of the cup are "50th Infantry Regiment 5th Company".
Condition: Excellent - some blackening of the gilt
