This is a pair of antique Japanese sake cups, each of which is for the Red Cross Association, which was closely associated with the military. One of them is a Mount Fuji design, while the other one is a water design reminiscent of the chrysanthemum on water (kikusui) theme. The back of one of the cups says "prefecture".
