Antique Japanese Set of 3 One Year Volunteer Infantry Army Sake Cups
This is a set of 3 antique Japanese military sake cups, decorated each with a pair of flags, a kiri, and a chrysanthemum, both symbols of the emperor. The words are "Infantry One Year Volunteer Soldier". The smaller two cups have the name Akibara and the largest has the name Hoshino - likely the set was given by two soldiers to the receiver and so they have different names.
