Antique Japanese WW2 Battleship Nagato Navy Commemoration Lacquer Tray
This is an antique Japanese army commemorative lacquered tray, decorated with a bunch of cherry blossoms, a flag, and a battleship. The words on top are "Navy Term Fulfillment Commemoration" and the name in the shell on the bottom right is Sanada. The ship looks like Nagato-class with the distinctive curved stack after the first reconstruction.
Condition: Excellent. There's a small chip of the paint on the back on the bottom right corner (pictured) and some smaller wear and tear along the edge and on the back. Most of these trays are heavily damaged due to their method of construction which cracks over time, so it's quite rare to get one in such good condition.
