This is an antique Japanese army sake bottle, decorated with an embossed wreath. Inside the wreath is a flag with the signal unit symbol, and a battery insignia on top denoting this is a signal unit. The words on it are "Leaving the service commemoration". On the back of the bottle are the words "Hiroshima Communications unit" and the soldier's name Mitani. 

Condition: Excellent. There are a few spots where the glaze wasn't done quite well so the bare clay beneath is exposed. Please see pictures.
