This is a pretty unique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a very nice underglaze blue painting of two koi in water, and in gold is a badge of the Order of Rising Sun with the words "Victorious Return Commemoration". 

Condition: Excellent - slight fading around the rim. The center of the cup has an extra spot of glaze that sticks out - looks almost like an incense burner but it's obviously not, so I'm not sure what it is.
