This is an impressive looking Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a kiri and a regimental banner. The words on top are "50th Infantry Regiment Commemoration" and the soldier's name Kurashina. This cup is quite large and is actually one of the most impressive looking cups I've ever come across with its bold colors and big design. It's hard to convey this in pictures but it looks great in person.
