This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a rare naval marines helmet with a katana, flag, cherry blossoms, and an anchor. The words are "Navy Victorious Return Commemoration" and the exterior of the cup has an embossed navy helmet shape with five petals as the base - the insignia is an anchor instead of the usual star.
