This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a flag, anchor, and cherry blossoms. The words are "Warship Asama Long Distance Oceanic Voyage Commemoration" and the sailor's name Okamoto. The words on the side are "Taisho 3rd Year" which is 1914. Asama was a training cruiser back then and was responsible for training new midshipmen in seamanship, and undertook annual long distance voyages.
