This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a three legged crow - the legendary Yatagarasu, who guided the first emperor Jimmu to found Japan. There's also a six pointed star that the crow is holding. The words are "Director His Imperial Highness Kaninnomiya Visit Commemoration". On the back are the words "Showa 10th Year" "Veterans Association Fukushima Branch Association". The Kaninnomiya here is Prince Kotohito, the head of his cadet branch of the Imperial family and eligible to inherit the throne. Kotohito was a career soldier and served as the Chief of Staff of the IJA General Staff.
