This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with an anchor, cherry blossoms, and a flag. The words are "Warship Azuma Long Distance Voyage Commemoration" and the sailor's name Otani. These were training cruises for cadets to get used to navigation, etc.

Condition: Excellent - light fading of the rim
