Rare Antique Japanese Military Emperor on Horse Rising Sun Army Sake Cup
This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with what should be the emperor on horseback probably at a review - in full dress uniform. The sun with rays on the back suggests this is not an ordinary soldier but the emperor himself. There's an embossed pattern near the base, and the name of the kiln Kutani in the base.
Condition: Excellent - slight fading of the gold
