This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a pontoon bridge over a river, with a cherry blossom tree. The words are "16th Engineer" "Manchuria Dispatch Leaving the Service Commemoration". The exterior of the cup is in the shape of a helmet with a rare flag as the base. There's a soldier's name on the exterior but it's not easy to read. A nice combo of an uncommon unit decoration with a rare base.
